LANDSCAPES
Over the past 5 years Joe has taken every opportunity to explore Britain, discovering new locations to practise his landscape photography skills. He has photographed hundreds of places but the Scottish Highlands currently rank very highly on his list of favourite destinations due to their vast mountain ranges and wild weather. One of the preferred techniques that Joe uses is highly detailed panoramic images usually created from 10 or more individually stitched frames to give a much wider field of view than a single frame. Joe's work has had success in various photographic competitions including Landscape Photographer of the Year 2015.
"For me, landscape photography has it all. I'm so inspired by the diversity of beautiful scenarios the natural world can conjure up right in front of our very eyes. I believe the art of landscape photography isn't all about cameras, lenses or techniques, I believe it's more about how the elements come together to create something spectacular, and that's what I try to capture in my images."
